TERMS & CONDITIONS

RENTAL AGREEMENT

When making a booking you are agreeing to rental of either i. the villa and poolhouse or ii. the villa, poolhouse and venue. The rental agreement is for the below:

VILLA & POOLHOUSE STAY

Guests are welcome to use all accommodation areas and enjoy the section and amenities for a maximum of 8 people. No parties, events or ceremonies will take place during the stay.

VILLA, POOLHOUSE STAY & VENUE USE

Guests are welcome to use all accommodation areas, enjoy the section and amenities, invite additional people and can have a party, event or ceremony on the grounds as agreed with the Host when making the booking.

VILLA & POOLHOUSE DESCRIPTION

WIFI & NETFLIX

Wifi and 48", 39" & 32" TVs - unlimited wifi and Netflix.

A note to please bring your own devices, the home PC's are not available for use.

VILLA

Heating & Aircon : heat pump with air con is available for the living and bedroom areas.

Linen & towels : will be provided for the house, pool house and pool/tub.

Kitchen : with complimentary milk, tea and coffee and some cooking essentials. Fully equipped with crockery, cutlery etc, cookware & utensils.

Coffee machine, microwave, air fryer, slushie and soda stream machines, bread maker and half the fridge freezer space.

Dining: table with bench seating and three chairs along with assorted chairs / seating from the lounge as needed.

Lounge: 49" TV, three seater couch, large pouf, armchair and two chairs.

Study: 39" TV, desk and 3 seater couch.

Bedroom WIWs: are not available, although the Saffron Bedroom WIW can be used for an additional charge. Please inquire when booking.

Sage Bedroom: queen bed, bedside tables and garment rack with shelves.

Saffron Bedroom: king bed, ensuite, bench seat and garment rack with shelves

Slate Bedroom: king bed, bedside tables, bench seat and one built in wardrobe with half hang space, shelves and drawers.

Bathrooms: showers and vanities, towels and complimentary shower gel.

Laundry: dryer and washing machines and an extra toilet.

Cloakroom: half-hang rack for your use.

POOL HOUSE

Heating & air con : heat pump with air con in a fully insulated, double glazed space with sun blinds.

Kitchenette : with complimentary milk, tea and coffee. Coffee plunger, kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave. Crockery, cutlery, cups, glasses, utensils and bowls.

Living area : with 32" TV pool, garden, pool and vine views.

Full ensuite : toilet and shower with towels and complimentary shower gel.

Storage : cupboard shelving, hangers and a full length mirror.

Safety : there is a smoke alarm and fire extinguisher in white cupboard.

OUTDOORS

Pool : 10 x 4m saltwater, unheated pool available to use from approximately Nov - end Apr.

Spa : cedar hot tub, using colloidal mineral sanitiser, for use all year round.

Outdoor kitchen: bbq for use (sorry, Komodo Joe and bbq area fridge area are not available for use).

Deck areas : relax and enjoy the vineyard, garden and pool views from the pool house or back decks or enjoy the side deck and porch.

VENUE

Lawn and other areas: use and areas to be used to be agreed with the Host prior to the booking being made.

BOOKINGS

When making a booking it is taken that you have read, agreed to and take responsibility for ensuring you and your guests have agreed to and will follow the below:

BOOKINGS & MODIFICATIONS

By making a booking you are agreeing :

to pay all the charges listed for your booking - booking price, refundable bond, additional WIW charge (if requested) and the V&V hourly service rate (if used)
not to exceed the maximum number of guests allowed
that the host can re-enter the accommodation where reasonably necessary or where it is permitted legally or by your contract
that the host has the right to make you leave in a legally permitted manner, including reasonable overstay penalties
that if modifications are requested and made, you agree to pay any additional amounts arising from or agreed to with the modification

CANCELLATION POLICY

to receive a full refund, guests need to cancel at least 30 days before check-in
that if a cancellation is made between 7 and 30 days before check-in, you’ll be refunded 50% of the booking price
that if a cancellation is made 7 days or less before check-in, no refund will be given

PAYMENT

full payment is required upfront for the period and area(s) booked, along with payment of the $1,000 bond per stay
an email confirming details for the booking and receipt of the bond will be sent to the guest when payment and the bond are received
the Cancellation Policy and Bond Refund will be followed in relation to refunds of both payments and bonds

BOND REFUND

an email confirming receipt of the bond will be sent to the guest when the bond is received and will confirm the following:
the bond will be refunded no more than 5 working days after a booking if there has been no damage to the property
the bond will be used to rectify any damage or extra cleaning etc requirements to the accommodation or section where needed. A Damage Report will be provided to the booking guest(s) where the bond is used, in part or in whole, to address any issues identified. Receipts will, where applicable, be supplied for additional work required to remedy any damage or additional cleaning etc that may be needed.
the bond will be refunded in full for any booking that is cancelled and transferred with the booking, if the booking is modified.

HEALTH & SAFETY

there is a smoke alarm and fire extinguisher in white cupboard and a first aid kit in the bathroom cupboards
pool gates must be kept securely shut at all times
minors must be supervised by an adult when using the swimming pool
when not in use, the hot tub cover must be fastened securely using all clips on the lid and side of the hot tub
minors must be supervised by an adult when using the hot tub
if booking for a minor or if you bring a minor to a Host Service, you must be legally authorised to act on behalf of the minor and you are solely responsible for supervision of that minor
that you are responsible for confirming you, others staying in the villa and anyone you invite, meet minimum age, medical or other requirements to use any service or experience organised or provided by the host during your stay
to the extent permitted by law you are responsible and liable for both your own, and anyone you invite to join or provide access to the accommodation and section, acts and omissions. For example, this means you are responsible for i. leaving the accommodation and section in the condition they were in when you arrived ii. paying all reasonable Damage Report amounts and iii. acting with integrity, treating others with respect and complying with all applicable laws.
you assume the risk arising out of your access to and use of the accommodation and section and participation in any service or experience organised or provided by the Host. This means it is your responsibility to investigate and determine if a Host Service is suitable for you and those you invite to join you and that you freely and willfully assume those risks by choosing to participate in the Host Service.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Noise and music are to be kept to a reasonable level (ie respectful of neighbours and within Noise Control limits)
Evening events are to finish no later than 10pm
Where there are more than 20 people on the property, the hosting guest will need to book portable toilets
Alcohol can be consumed responsibly, adhering to legal age and driving limits
No drugs are allowed on the property
No smoking or vaping indoors
No running or dangerous activities in the swimming pool area
No smoking, vaping, food or glass in the swimming pool
No smoking, vaping, food or glass in the hot tub
No pets are to be brought onto the property
No fixtures or fittings, both indoors and outdoors, are to be interfered with
The property is to be left in a tidy condition - all used towels and linen can be left in the laundry room.
